For over 20 years, the Pentecostals of Dublin have met in rented spaces. While these accommodations have served us, they are temporary, and the church has never had a home of its own. Currently, our Sunday School meets in the hotel lobby or wherever free public space can be found in the Maldron Hotel, our current venue. Outside of Sundays, we are often limited to hosting gatherings in members’ homes or holding services online through Zoom, due to the ever-increasing cost of rent. Each week, we must set up all sound equipment, instruments, and other materials before service and tear everything down again afterward, a labour of love that underscores our longing for a permanent home.

In 2020, following the leading of the Lord, we began working toward a building fund, understanding that if we desired a permanent place of worship, we would need to partner our faith with works (James 2:17: “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”).

Since being voted senior pastor in September 2023, our vision for a permanent home has become even more focused and intentional.
The urgency has grown this year, with our rent having doubled, making it clear that now is the time to act.

As of September, we have raised €15,000, a small beginning, yet a faithful step. We trust that with God, all things are possible. Every contribution to the building fund is more than a donation; it is an investment in eternity, laying a spiritual foundation for generations to come. Together, we are building on the cornerstone of Jesus Christ, believing that He will do greater works through His people. With a permanent home base for POD, we plan to launch out into revival in a more effective and far-reaching way across the nation of Ireland.
